Standard portable toilets work for most jobs. A unit holds 60 to 70 gallons and measures about 44 by 48 inches on the ground, standing roughly 92 inches tall. Deluxe flushable models cost more but feel like real restrooms. For sites where accessibility matters, ADA compliant units require at least one accessible toilet where five or more are clustered, per ADA Standards section 213.2. Restroom trailers hold four to eight stalls and run on their own power and plumbing. We also stock roll-off dumpsters in 10 to 40 yard sizes, storage containers rented by the month, temporary fencing for site control and handwashing stations required where employees apply paints, coatings, herbicides or insecticides per OSHA 1926.51(f)(1). Septic pumping is available for residential and commercial tanks. Most residential tanks need pumping every 3 to 5 years, driven by tank size and household size.
How we work in Baton Rouge
You call, text or email with a start date and pickup location. We deliver at your time, not ours. Service calls happen weekly under ANSI/PSAI Z4.3, the portable sanitation baseline. Emergency weekend service costs more but we staff it. Delivery needs about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck, so we scout the site first if it's tight. Placement in the public right of way needs confirming with the city. We pump grease interceptors when fats, oils, grease and solids reach 25 percent of the liquid depth. Construction sites must meet OSHA 1926.51(c)(1): one toilet facility for 20 workers or fewer; one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers from 20 up; one toilet seat and one urinal per 50 workers at 200 or more. How much does a standard portable toilet cost per day?
Rental pricing runs from about $100 to $350 per day depending on duration and location. Weekly rates run $130 to $500, and monthly rates run $125 to $325. Check our cost breakdown to see the range for your rental period.
Do you charge a delivery fee?
Yes. Delivery runs $50 to $150 per week, $100 to $500 per day and $120 to $420 per month. Weekend delivery costs more. The fee covers the truck, driver and fuel to haul the unit to your site and back.
Can I rent a portable toilet for just one day?
You can. Daily rental works for events, one-day jobs and emergencies. Most customers who rent for longer than a week save money with a weekly or monthly rate, so compare the rates before you decide.
What's the difference between a standard and a deluxe portable toilet?
A standard unit is a vault toilet with a tank you empty from outside. A deluxe flushes, has a seat cover and feels more like a real bathroom. Deluxe costs $150 to $1,200 per day but the jump in comfort justifies it for office parks and outdoor events where guests matter.
How do I know how many portable toilets I need?
Count your workers or guests and apply OSHA 1926.51(c)(1): one facility per 20 or fewer. At 50 people you need at least two. At 100 people you need three. Our sizing guide walks you through the math.
